I take very detailed records of all Watchmen CGC sales (9.6 and above) and have been since the summer of '06. I was also an under bidder on a few that you've won over the past year. :hmmmm:

Fantastic run of books. I would say the time to sell is now (if you are thiunking of flipping the set that is). Interest is high and could well dip after the film comes out, especially if the film bombs.

I recently picked up the complete set, but only in the 7.5 - 9.0 range and unslabbed.

I hope so my collection just feels empty without an X-men #1...oh and I will tell how much I paid once the auction is over...I only have one bid though and they could always retract so I'm not counting my chickens just yet ;)...D

He never actually sold his set. He initially put the set up for $3K then increased it by $1K every month until it hit $8K I think (mid '07). It was then off ebay for a couple months but finally came back at $12K. In those two months, the only thing that changed (other than the price) was that all the comics now had the new CGC labels. Previously, I think five of them had the old labels.
