Havent posted anything in awhile and I've gotten lots of stuff from Howies and I dont feel like finding them so I went to 1/2 Price this morning and picked up a couple of books. I included some Silver Surfer #3 & 5 and Subbie & Iron Man #1 which I got off of the CGC boards.

so i logged everything in $350.00 worth for $7.00 and sold the secret wars for $13.00 and a miller long neck (cold too) to my neighborhood since I already had one

got some crazy stuff at half price out of their .10 box. I think they have a new manager becausse this is just crazy. I spent $7.00 and got 70 comics. This is some of the cool stuff i got. Sorry i dont have a camera so im using cpg scanned covers

the rest are just basic fills i needed. There is also a incredible hulk #150 in about a 8. grade.

Howies is this really little store here in San Antonio, actually next time I go I'm going to take some pictures because you wouldnt believe how many comics he has stuffed into his store, they are literally long boxes stacked on top of each other.

Well I did a buy today that I think I might have overpaid. I bought 19 old X-Men for $75 from this guy off of craigslist. I met him at the LCS and we were talking and he said that these were his from when he was a little kid but that him and his wife were on hard times right now and she was hassling him about selling off some of his collection. So reluctantly he has started to do that. Well I felt really bad and decided that hey it's only $75, my family is doing well, I can eat the costs up. So please go check out the grading forum because I"m going to post them in there to see if I really did overpay. I'm scanning them now so give me about 20 min.

Just got back from Howies and picked up all these for $23. About .35 cents each. I'm supposed to pick up some early silver age X-Men tonight for $75, we'll see if that pans out. But anyways, I got some nice Wolverines today and a couple of small runs of The Invaders and Shazam.

I just crapped my pants!

How is it that you guys find such great stuff at your 1/2 Price Book Stores? Mine sells stuff like "Shaman Tears" "Wild Star" and image comics in tri-tri-duplicates. And when they have older stuff it's in poor condition and is usually like "Archie" repriced 3 times the guides NM price. WTF!!!???!?!!

Alright Im back and just took pics. I only took pics of about 3/4 of the box, I dont feel like doing the rest, too tired. Well here goes. I was mainly trying to get runs because I figured they have a much better chance of selling on ebay. This is it, I cant keep buying and buying and not selling on ebay. My bedroom and closet are half filled with comics, my wife has gotten on my case almost every day about "all this junk" everywhere. We have no room in the house for me to put them unless I take over one of the kids room. I hope Howies doesnt get in those 20 boxes tomorrow because I know I'll be there again....:crazy:

Went over to Howies again today since he got in about 6 more boxes and picked up all these for .35 cents each. He's getting in 9 more boxes this Wednesday. He told me today that he pays $25 a box, and at first the sellers scoff at him for offering that low and eventually they come back and give in.

I went this morning to Howies to check on those 44 short boxes and hit the motherload again. I bought $70 worth (averaged about .35 cents and issue) of stuff and there was plenty more I wanted to get but I had to control myself since I have about 3 long boxes of crap I still have to sell on ebay and I knew that adding more would just clutter everything else up even more.

So here goes on what I bought.

I'm not exactly sure if the Spider-Girl, Fantastic Four and Gambit are worth anything but I saw that they came with COA from Wizard so I figured what the hell. I liked that Kabuki cover and decided to pick that one up.

I decided last night to stop by 1/2 Price since I havent been there in probably over a month or longer. They had some really good stuff but it was mostly for $3 each, way too much for me. Here is what I picked up, total about $8.50. The local collector shop I go to now is getting in 44 short boxes this weekend all for .50 each, will be there Sunday.
