Stan Lee/Jack Kirby/Steve Ditko (hard to split these up, the backbone of Marvel that started it all)

George Perez (art on the Avengers blew me away)

John Byrne (started with X-Men and went from there though his ego really started getting to me by the time I took my hiatus from comics in the late 90s)

Frank Miller (Unfortunately I missed his first Daredevil run, but has been aces since)

Bob Kane (do I really have to say why?)

After I peed my pants I coughed up a dolla on X-Factor #75 and from there I was hooked.

Lee and Kirby - For creating the majority of characters I love. I am NOT a big fan of Kirby's art, I just respect him for all he did in making comics what they are.

Jim Lee - 1st artist in the modern era who made me say "Wow".

What 5 people in the comic book industry past or present do you considered the backbone to your comic book collecting over the years since you started and why?

Jack Kirby (1st artist ever meet and during those times he art was on most covers)

Stan Lee (Nuff said)

John Byrne (he was the man at that time mid 80's and still like his work)

George Perez ( he was the young gun when i started New teen Titans were off the hook)

Carl Barks (its all in the eyes my favorite artist of all times)

I'm pretty much old school on this.
