Amazing Fantasy #15 ( does this count as an Amazing Spider-Man ? )
Amazing Spider-Man #1 - #400 ( except for #'s 11, 12, 13, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 43 ) So that's 391.
Number's #1 to #42 are all CGC certified at 8.0 or above.

I'm working on completing my run of The Flash (Barry Allen) from when I was a kid. For issues 105-350 plus the annual, I'm short nine. That's nine of the earliest, most expensive ones of course. I've got 109, 110, 114-118, 121-350, and the 1963 Annual #1.

I'm also trying get as many Flash cover appearances as I can find, including early Green Lanterns (I've got 13 and 20, looking for a nice 43), 80 Page Giants #4 & #9, Superman/Flash races in World's Finest & Superman titles, and various 70s special series. And then there's the Early showcases, 4, 8, 13, & 14. I'm saving my pennies for those bad boys!

So that's 238 Flash issues, plus maybe 15 or 20 random cover appearances. If anyone's got a [b]beautiful[/b] & [b]cheap[/b] 105 they're looking to get rid of, I'm your man!!! :-)

Welcome to Completionist Corner.

You are in the part of the forums for collectors who like to build complete or long runs of certain titles:D.

Some history.

In 2003 forum member Clyfft started a thread asking how many comics we all had. This turned into a biggest and longest running thread on the old CPG forums as members began to post regular updates on how their collections were growing. After a while separate threads were started for Marvel, DC, Crossgen and before long many others. These threads concerned themsleves not only with members posting new buys and updates on the growing size of publisher sets but new variant discoveries, ebay auction results etc.

By 2004 over 20 threads had started so we have them their own section called 'What's in Your Long Box?'

Intended for publisher sets, forum members also started to talk about title sets as well so a new sister section was born and we had 'Publisher Sets' and 'Title Sets' living in their own special section called 'Completionist Corner'.

The recent thread about Groo the Wanderer made me think about Sergio Aragones and Plop!

Plop! was a great series, unlike anything DC had put out at the time. It featured macabre humor and an all-star cast of contributors. Sergio Aragones (Mad, Groo); Steve Skeates (Aquaman in the '60s/'70s); Nick Cardy (Teen Titans); Frank Robbins (Batman); Lee Marrs (Pudge the Girl Blimp); David Manak (Mad, Cracked, Crazy); David Michelinie (Spiderman and Iron Man); and Ramona Fradon (Aquaman, Superman, Batman and Brenda Starr).

Of course, it was the classic covers by Basil Wolverton and Wallace Wood that made Plop! leap off the comic book rack. Wolverton did some of his best covers for Plop!

Unfortunately, the series only ran for 24 issues over three years ('73 to '76). I have them all and they are a source of pride for this underground comic book collector.
