Yeah, you can do some youtube searches of willingham interviews and you can see an interview from a while back where he said Peter Pan was originally intended to be the Adversary because he steals kids. And Hook was going to be one of the good guys. I had heard the rumor that the rights to Peter Pan had cleared over in the UK and now Willingham could use him, but I haven't heard anything confirmed yet. Pan has been clear in the USA for years now, but since the series is distributed in the UK as well, they had to wait.

It has been said that issue 75 is going to bring a big change to the Fableverse, but if you check out the cover of 77 - I think this is the one he will show up in.

check it out below - there is a figure coming out of a sort of [b]pan[/b]dora box and there is an antlered figure resembling the faun [b]Pan[/b] holding it up.

my old shop guy was so up on fables, that he was sure he knew who the advasary was...this explains why he was so confused...and when it was revealed as Geppeto, he(shop guy) for a bit stopped reading Fables..

I never quite understood why....Now it makes sense.

Guess some people take their comics very seriously...

I read the same thing in a Wizard issue awhile back, don't know if it was announced anywhere else first. Sorry, I don't recall which issue offhand(if you care).

I don't recall where - I know my comic book guy had read it also - we talked about it.

Big announcement in Comic Shops News (I am sure it is posted elsewhere)

Willingham has permission to use Peter Pan characters starting with Issue #75

Sweeet, considering Peter Pan WAS going to be the adversary originally...but he couldn't use the character.

Understand. Bought the trades for the Mrs to read..she aint touching the actual issues! Not sure of the bonus's in the other trades. I will post as we move along.

I remember skipping everything and going right to issue two of the trade (because I had read issue #1 online)...I will have to go back to read it, however my trades for Fables have spent more time in other people's hands - letting everyone I know borrow them, and all (including me mum!) have really enjoyed the ride.

Well, this may be old news to some of you but I picked up the TPB of Fables number 1. Wasn't I surprised to see a new text only story by Willingham that answers a couple of questions about Snow meeting Bigsby for the first time. For those of you, interested, pick it up or lounge in your favorite book store...
