I have to see that comic, I dream of reading it! I'm so curious as to what Cal Ripkens purpose in the story would be. He probally transforms his entire body into iron in refference to his 'iron man' status, or hopefully he simply appears in every panel of the comic, not really doing that much but appearing in every single panel without missing a single one.

RE: Hey Earl DC Giveaways

That is a special wraparound cover for the BATMAN & CAL RIPKEN Vs. It is just lacking the red 1/2 overwrap which also contained coupons for various dairy products on the back cover. Once in a while they would have a promotion that gave away comics. He has given me two comics. These comics were exclusive to the store and had the KB toys logo printed on the cover. I have two of the three that I know exist. I have a Star Wars book that has reprinted stories from the Russ Manning news paper strip and a Ghost Rider comic with an original story. The third that I know about is a Daredevil comic that he goes up against a villain named vapora. The comic apparently teaches about the dangers from the fumes of gasoline. I don't have the DD book. I would be interested to know if there are any others out there.

RE: Hey Earl DC Giveaways

Come on guys, keep the information coming....

RE: Hey Earl DC Giveaways
David Buck (8/8/2008)

Ian Levine (8/8/2008)

David Buck (8/7/2008) It was only while looking up the "'Til death" giveaway you mentioned Ian that I spotted the wildstorm "Pushing daisies" comic
Pushing Daisies is Wildstorm ??

Are you SURE ????
http://abc.go.com/primetime/pushingdaisies/?pn=comic

Wildstorm FX are listed as colourist on the second page & in the indicia you can just make out a line about wildstorm being a trademark of dc comics
You're totally right.
Thankyou a million times.
I would never have known it was a DC if you hadn't told me.
Did you get the "Dill Death Do Us Part" comic ??
There are also two Finn And Friends.
