I was out of toilet paper at my house over the weekend and Trinity was the only thing that came to mind for me to use. So I grabbed the first 5 issues and ran fullspeed upstairs.

The pages weren't as soft and cushiony as my cottonelle but they got the job done.

I just couldnt bring myself to put my $ into another weekly even though I a huge Bagely fan. I just didn't like the idea of half the book being back up story.

I grabbed some back issues yesterday. The art is great (as expected) but the story is dull. Maybe I'm just not that into the Big 3 being rammed in my face all the time. I'd love to seem Bagely on Batman.

Plus I'll keep supporting the hobby. High prices or not...Comics now days are the best they've ever been written....and the best they've ever been drawn. (The quality ones).

I suppose that's true, but I'm still forking out the same loot per issue (four times as much per month) so I don't see why I should cut them a break. If they can't hack a weekly series and keep it just as good as a monthly, then don't make weeklies.

The fact there's not a whole lot of time going into it due to time limits, it's holding up pretty good...

Well...just read issue 3....

This is easily the best weekly series DC has done yet. Yep, I conformed !. It's pretty good..and the art did improve..

I'm liking the story. Even the back up stories are above average.

Issue #2 was great...........action action action...and moved the story....where it moved the story im still confused by...but at least it wasnt set at a breakfast table...and the art seemed to flow better from pannel to pannel.

Well, he's talking about possibly moving to a Wharehouse space..which would be cool...less cost for him, more space, and close to the freeway..

I'm just hoping he can stay open for a bit till he gets something..its a good shop..

As far as Trinity is concerned...yeah..they were eating breakfast...the flash was bumming a croisant off of batman..it was kinda funny...

like I said, I'm sticking with as long as I can..

I take what I posted back a bit..heh.

After a second reading, it really isn't that bad. I think i was just upset the first part of the book was so short, and the second part sort of bored me...(I have no idea who those characters are)...but yeah, after taking time and rereading the second part it made a lot more sense and blended with the book...

The art isn't THAT bad either, but still lacks a bit. Specially on certain parts.

My LCS was taking a hit last summer due to the "booming" economy, but what he did was move, and he moved to a great place.

He moved into an old Video rental store (LOTS OF ROOM) right off of a major I-95 exit. People see him right off the freeway and BAM! customers.

He gets all sorts of business now. Ask your owner has he thought of moving, and if so move around an freeway exit.

The Book was basically to set up (foreshadow) events to come....it even went into that in 2nd story in the book....i have to agree it was short..
But as far as the art....i am biased.....it was Bagley so i loved it...but on the other hand i have to agree...not his best....
since taking leave of USM his art just doesnt flow as well...but thats because hes been doing nothing but Spider-man for years on end....give him a chance to settle into the characters....im sure it will start to flow smoothly...

I didnt mean like Trinity #1 was going to be this largely sought after book. Its going to be solid, but once they start running out of quality ideas, and it becomes "JUST ANOHER BOOK" You just know its going to be an issue with them eating breakfast and talking about something really stupid and thats the point where Im going to be like "Okay F___ this"

well i just read trinity. Geez...was that thing short. And the art isn't my favorite...

I don't know, so far I'm not that high on it. For a first issue, DC could of done better. Which they usually do, but this just wasn't that great. I know it just showed the relationship between the three..but I wanted more. And again, really not a fan of the art. Im a comic book reader who loves the art too..(being an artist myself)..and i always have something to say about the art..but this just seemed half assed.

And for a weekly comic i understand that, but the last two weekly series were better than that...

52 was quality, but Countdown just blew.

I think trinity will be in between. I'll be following it as long as its good enough, but only cause I enjoy the relationships between those characters.

Trinity will be good for about 3 months or so, but the first story i see with the trinity having breakfast, Im through.

So I will wait and see.

But dont think of collecting this with the intent of making a mint.
