I don't think Crumb has drawn this amateurishly since he was 11 years old, but maybe I'm wrong. $2,500 is a lot to risk. The seller has two other Crumb originals, including a place mat drawing that looks like the genuine article. Still, I have my doubts on this one.

The male character absolutely does not look like Crumb's work to me.

Sorry, but doesn't the description state that Crumb drew the devil girl figure and the other male artist drew the man?

Ah, you are right 50c. And I guess the female in the drawing passes for a quick sketch by Crumb. I guess the fact that Crumb didn't sign his side of the drawing also set off alarms for me. But based on the seller's other two original works, I should trust him.
