Very cool pickups....and good idea to make it a family thing.....i do that too....but after about 15min my wife is done looking at what she wants to look at....and giving me and the boy the look....he goes thru the .50 bin getting book to read.....while im going thru the books up top....

Once again....very cool books

Yes its good to see another conversion over to the Church (cult) of 1/2 Price Books.  Although I dont know if I would be willing to drive that far just one way.  What are the prices on the Ultimate Spidermans?  Down here in Tx they run from 1.50 to 2.00 an issue.

“I don’t do this for the Commander in Chief.  I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.”

"They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative."

"Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer.

Although it is a fairly lengthy drive, it's in the same town that my son currently lives in. I take a stop on by when I have to drive up there to drop him off.

The Ultimate Spider-Man books are running about $1.50/book. I haven't seen any that are over that amount. I have seen a couple in the $.50 boxes once. I didn't pick them up because I already had a couple of them.

"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
