Oh, BTW:

Compare this to the sketch cover, and you can see (well I see) that Michael Turner was one of those artists who suffers form inking. I mean the final picture looks great, don't get me wrong, but the pencil drawing has a lot more depth, volume, subtlety, etc.

I feel the same way about Jim Lee, his pencils look even better before they're inked.

I've never been a huge michael turner fan, bu I love this cover... this should have been the standard cover hands down over th Ross or Land version.

Did anyone purchase either of the 1 in 200 covers from their local comic shop? Just curious what they cost you.

I got a great deal on the 1 in 30 covers today from my local shop, but they didn't have a large enough order for the sketch covers. Still glad to pick up both of the 1 in 30 covers for a total of 24.50. So once my DF variant gets here I'll have 5 out of the 7, and sadly won't see the other 2 for quite awhile.

Yeah I picked up the Turner variant today at my LCS. It was a pretty penny though.... (Cough... $60... cough...). Oh well I am a hugh Turner fan and the cover makes it well worth it for me. Im thinking about getting it graded. I also grabbed a copy of The Alex Ross cover.

Right now the Turner sketch for $60 is a great deal. Honestly, I would have bought multiples at that price.

You got the Turner sketch cover, or the color one? $60 for the sketch cover sounds like a hell of a deal.
