Seems to be but I don't watch the current sales trends. Guide says it's worth $1,176.00.

Batfan, do you have bottomless pockets or what? I wish I could drop a few grand on comics like you have this week.

Yes it's an alright deal probably a little better than all right. I really think if you are going to spend that kind of money on things, you need to spend some time researching the books you want. It is not ever a good idea to buy something and then ask "should I have..."

Just because you have the money to spend, doesn't mean you should be foolish about it. You may be able to find better deals, or even package deals where you get more value for your buck.

Quit spending and start learning.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I have yet begun to surrender.

You did just fine on this deal. GPA average is $720, so you're good. Just be careful what you're buying. You might have wanted to consider an 8.5 copy instead of 9.0. For just a .5 grade difference, there is a $230 average price difference.

second that...I often search the differences in prices one grade up and down...sometimes a half point can save you a lot of dough...D

I believe a comic is only worth what your willing to pay for it and how important it is to your collection.  If you are buying just to resale then it was a good buy but don't know how much profit you are going to make on it.

Bottom line when you got it did you smile?

If yes there is your answer!!

By the looks of it your a smart collector and you dont do to many bad buys anyhow.
