I have several Batman comic books Legend of the Dark Knight published in 1989 by DC comics and have issues 1 through 12 does anyone have any idea of its value

If you sell individually, market them in several venues and are prepared to wait a few years for the right buyers you might get $2 to $3 each.

If you want to sell quickly and in bulk you may get from $0.25 to $1 each.
