Black on black is as bad as white on white. The looks of it, probably an 8.0, need the back for a better evaluation.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I have yet begun to surrender.

Would the writing on the cover not bring the grade down slightly more than that?

Clockwork (7/19/2008)

Nope, I'd say that at the VF level, that little writing doesn't do any further damage. Sweet GL by the way, that's one I don't have yet. I might have graded it a little higher than Joker, but I'm probably too forgiving of the little things.

Have you seen the FREE-BIGS page? It's a great way to improve your grading skills. Run your GL through it and see what you come up with. It's not perfect, and sometimes I've felt that a comic deserves either a half grade more or less, but it's really pretty cool.

I'll go with an 8.5 for this one. This thread only works with a moderator *cough* Universal Soldiers. If its a free for all then books are better suited to individual threads.
