| Second issue of the new Millar and Hitch series and man I can't believe how much I'm actually enjoying FF. Its kind of one of those books I've always collected, that has been enjoyable at times but NEVER rose to the top of the pile in my reading. Suddenly its bumping other titles to get read. Things just seem more fresh with each of the characters doing their own things for a change rather than having to hang out since they are a team book. Things feel a little rushed with trying to jam that many plotlines in (I notice Sue didn't even have a cameo) but that'll work itself out. I'm curious to hear more about the Thing's date. I mean the celebrity dating thing can only go so far for the guy. We all know he can't be having much of a sex life. Go Thing I say. The Johnny in the rock band/reality show thing will probably end up cheesy but its worth a try at least. This alternate world thing is a little hokey even for comics but I'll buy it. What surprises me is that all this would be going on and Reed wouldn't have gotten an invite on the ground floor. Considere the smartest guy on the planet plus fabulously wealthy shouldn't he have been a shoe in? Oh well the bad robot escaped now lets see what happens next.

| I've always been an FF fan but haven't been reading the regular series until 554. (I started reading Ultimate FF at issue #1 and I think that is a great read) I will check this out for a while to see where it goes. Pretty good story line so far.

I'm waiting for my copy of #555 to arrive from my mail order service, but I thought #554 looked promising. I'm intrigued to see where they take the storyline with Reed's ex-squeeze, and hopefully reveal some new info on his history.

enenjoyingll the storylines so far, Johnny's story with the new girl looks like it could turn into something interesting and Reed doesn't annoy me... for once

How did this thread go from an issue discussion to an ongoing FF discussion? Is this how much modding is going on on the new boards? Its a little much trying to pigeonhole all issue discussion into threads like these. 'Sure they'll become huge threads but they also will hit people with spoilers when they aren't expecting them and get off topic.
