Everyday is a good day to check out a comic book convention/show. When you live in Indiana, you don't get very many chances to check one out. Oh!, but wait! We will have our day in the sun come this August 2, 2008.

There is going to be a one-day show in Terre Haute. I haven't had a chance to go to a comic book convention since I can't remember when. I'm definitely going to check this one out though. The place is right. The time is right. The day is right. (It falls on my B-day this year. ) Who knows? I might even be a dealer set up at this show.

I know that I'm not the only one on these boards that is from Indiana or the surrounding States. Is anyone going to make the trek to check it out?

This is the information straight from the website:

Guess I'm flying solo on this one?

Here are some pics from the convention. I'm going to post all of them although I'm not really sure what most of them are or why they were taken. My g/f was in charge of the photography during the show.

Here we are getting ready to head out:

Convention floor pic:
As you can see, it wasn't a very big room that this was set up in. But the price was right and we still did pretty well for as small of the show was.

Another convention floor pic:

This is Malcolm (my business partner):

Don't really know what's going on here:

This is one of the other dealers that was at the show.
He kept trying to get Malcolm to come off of some of his Golden Age books (Like his Action Comics #17).

Another picture of the above guy's display wall:

A picture of the front of our table:

This is my g/f acting like she's having a good time:

One of the other dealers that was at the show:

And yet ANOTHER dealer that was there:

Malcolm talking with one of the other dealers:

Customers/and other dealers looking through our stock:

Random picture of one of the rarities that we brought with us:

Picture of me looking up a price for a Silver Age book that one of the other dealers was interested in.
We kept the prices for that small Silver Age collection that we just purchased seperate from the rest of the inventory. It made it easier to split up the money at the end of the day.

Even the guy that was putting on the show was interested in some of our books. They called this guy "The King of Dollar Books".

And another rarity that we brought along:

Me talking with "The King of Dollar Books":

Malcolm and I discussing something:

Not really sure what I was doing:

My g/f and I towards the end of the day:

And another one:

And another:

Here's one of all three of us:

And another:

And the last picture of the day.
Not really sure what Malcolm has going on here.
