If you go to your photostream, you'll see all of the pictures you've uploaded right? Click on one of them and it takes you to a page with just that picture, a little bigger than on the photostream page.
Above the bigger picture there's a toolbar thing, like this:
Click on the "ALL SIZES" button and you get to another page with the picture at its full size. Scroll down and you'll see two fields below the picture. The second field says "2. Grab the photo's URL:" like this:
Copy the URL in that field and throw it between two [img] tags in your post here and you should be good to go.

It depends on the size of the upload. I tend to go with 770 x 1100 or there abouts which is about 35% of the scan size. It works out to 155 kb. If you are not careful when uploading the site you host it on will resize it to their advantage.
My scans come out this size when I place them on here.
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
