Various misc. titles from the mentioned publishers.
Whitman, goldkey, marvel, charlton, modern
Does anyone know if there are some titles I should be looking for? Most of these seem to be from the early 70's.
Thanks,
~Kev

Where did you find it? There are 1000's of possibilities. Why don't you list some of the titles in the box?

Maverick (6/29/2008) Where did you find it? There are 1000's of possibilities. Why don't you list some of the titles in the box?
In the garage. It was a box of stuff I got from a neighbor and never really looked at because the top 20 or so were ratty, torn, and in damn bad shape.
These are the ones that are still in one piece.
The ones in the DB:
Captain Atom 83 1st Blue Beetle (modern comics, probably a reprint), 84
DareDevil 115
Marvel team up 34, 35, 88
Aengers 129, 130
ASM 143, 147
Wonderwoman 221
Lone Ranger
Ufo Flying Saucers
Marvel: Western Gunfighters 25
Tweety And Sylvester (Dell and Whitman)
sgt fury 121
Richie Rich
Pink Panther
WAR 9
Looney toons
Pluto
sgt rock 284
E-Man 2, 10
Some things not in the DB:
Creepy Things 6 (modern)
Haunted 7 (Charlton)
Ghost Manor 19 (modern)
There are probably another 50-75 things that were just in to bad a shape IMO. There are also some weird Japanese comics I haven't deciphered yet.
Thanks,
~Kev

I just wish the rest were in better shape. It looks like a rat ate at them or something. I will try to get pics up tomorrow. Who knows maybe these crazy Japanese comics are worth something.
I was really happy to find the DD, and almost as happy to find out that the Captain Atom is the first Blue Beetle. The rest don't really interest me that much.
There were some old Star Treks and Boris Karloffs in there as well. Maybe I can trade them foe something I like, one never knows.
Thanks again.

| Yeah, that Captain Atom 83 is a reprint (you said it says Modern on it right?). It looks like you have a few with the Modern imprint. Those are all reprints, and even though printed by Modern Publications, they are listed with the 'regular' publisher for that title. (I don't know if you noticed that yet, or not.)

I noticed that after a few searches because it states something to that effect. So I'm guessing they aren't worth anything.
