I got really luck..I think. Both bought within the last 4 months. I need to validate the grades I have these under; so your input is appreciated. After you grade them guess what I put out $$$ for them. I'm no millionaire so don't get ridiculous (Hint: ignore checking CPG for the values. Just go from the gut and consider how rarely you've ever come across these...and if you're into collecting the cent variants.) I'll post the prices I shelled on Thursday.

Thanks!

Dan

The $0.35 variants are really tough to find. It took me over 6 months to get all 5 from the FF series. On the plus side, 3 were 'hiddens' in regular eBay auctions so I didn't pay that much for them. One was a 9.0-9.2 buy it now for about $3.50. If you got that ASM for less than $20, you did really well.

I'd go 4.5 on the first book that's some bad creasage. 6.5 on the second book, maybe 7.0 if you're stretching.

At last somebody understands that .30 cent cover variants are tough to find...but .35 cent variants are near impossible to come across. While .30 cent variants have come and gone by, I've been looking for ASM .35 cent variants for years. The X-men 100 I put into 7.5-8.0 territory; for that I spent $150.

The Amazing Spider-Man 170 was found hidden in a lot run of A.Spideys. The lot cost me $200 but it was this one comic I'd been searching for years to own...both are long term keepers. Some will say it was a waste of moola but I feel it was well worth it. Chalk it up to the very few comics I'd pay more than the current Price Guide estimates.

Thanks for the input!

4.5

7.5 (as long as the pink ink on the top of the cover is a publishers mark)

nice variants,  I just discovered I have that same ASM with the price variant, never cared to check before.
