Even though im bitching......ill post this for others looking for some key issues that lead up to the current RIP storyline....found this on Comicsscoop.com...first Jezebel Jet and first cameo of the Black Glove...enjoy...
The Batman R.I.P. storyline has begun and the leading players are beginning to emerge, but the main man behind the master plot to bring down Bruce Wayne made his cameo early on!
Way back in Batman #665, you will notice a pair of Black Gloves holding onto a rail as Bruce Wayne and Jezebel Jet kiss, thats right the Black Glove made his presence known then, and even though its only a Cameo it could still be considered one of the key back issues to have.
This issue has not caught on yet and you can still grab this issue for cover price at $2.99 or even cheaper, its a bargain even to check out and read.
Also key an eye out for Batman #656, this is the First Appearance of Jezebel Jet supposedly BruceWayne’slove interest, however as of Batman #677 it seems that she is using some mind games on Bruce Wayne and starting to make him doubt himself, could she be a one of the Black Glove’s pawns?
Batman #656 is another potential key issue in the Batman R.I.P. storyline since Jezebel Jet could play a major role good or bad, the price is another bargain since it is at cover price $2.99 but you can still find this issue cheaper.
These two books are nice tie in issues to what could be one of the best Batman storylines since the Hush series and could have collector’s looking for key issues, both Batman #656 and Batman #655 could be these issues, get them while they are cheap.
If the story does well these issues might be harder to come by (which never occured to me)...right now they are sitting anywhere from $1 to coverprice...so if you are enjoying the story....jump on the key issues now...might be a bit expensive later...
