I recycle all comic plastic bags. Here in North Carolina, the grocery stores take old plastic bags and recycle them, so I bring any time of plastic bag back to the store. You really shouldn't throw them in the regular garbage. As an artist/painter, I use the backing boards for sketching out ideas for new paintings. They are great for drawing quick thumbnail sketches. Eventually, I put them into my weekly paper/cardboard recyling bin.  What can I say... I'm a treehugger trying to help out Mother Earth!

You are right. No more teasing. Time to put theory into practice.

This is taken from the "poll: Your Age?" thread:

wow...15.

Where's a SuperCop when you need one?

back to topic: Do you think they might be worth selling on ebay?...I just changed bags (nothing fancy here though) and was having the same thoughts.

Here's what Argus does with them.  Argus does everything right, so listen close to what Argus says.

1. Any comics I am going to sell go into a used bag/board. (I rebag and board everything I get, most probably do the same.)

2. Bags, well, they are recycled or pitched.  My town doesn't take them as far as I know, so I only put them in the blue bags occasionally.  I should check on the grocery store idea...good one Dan.

3. Boards, the oldest yellowest ones I recycle.  The so-so ones are used as filler in my comic boxes or as extra support in shipping.  The better used ones go to my son to color on, or whatever else he wants to do with them.  What is really nice is that they are firm enough that he can write on them without much trouble on the floor, on his bed, in the car.

That's what Argus does with them.  If it's good enough for him, why isn't it good enough for you?

So sayeth the Argus.
