| I listed a set of Akira TPB's from Dark Horse on eBay for my brother. The action that #3 and 6 are getting is a total shock. The auction doesn't go off till friday and the two volumes are up to $51 apiece already! I did a little research on amazon and found 2 copies of volume 3 selling for $99 and $150. The $150 copy is a library copy! Anyone have any idea why volume 3 & 6 specifically are through the roof? I'll update on friday after it goes off for a final price.

| No idea why those are going for that much but its nice to know that books I own have gone up in value apparently...wouldn't have expected that much though.

| movie buzz? It's rumored that there's a new movie in production starring non other than Leo Dicaprio himself. Can't believe I sold the entire set for like $60 a year ago... Drat!

| I dont know why TPB are so in demand. But it's well known issues 37 and 38 from the original Epic series are very scarce. About the movie, I am skeptical about that, and I dont see which character Di Caprio would play

Are we talking the 6 Akira volumes that came out 6-7 years ago? Crazy.
I actually have an Akira tattoo that I rarely show people....yep, I'm a nerd.
