[b]...and for reference, here's the picture in the ebay listing I got it from (so much nicer!):  The ebay one must be a scan, but I can't fit the thing on my little home 8.5x11 flatbed. Legal-size scanner, most likely.

It looks like a scanned image moreso than a photo...Sometimes if you upload photos to certain websites they'll tell you if the photo was taken with a camera or not...Sounds strange...But if you have DA account and you upload an image you took with your camera (even after renaming the file) it'll still have extra info about what camera the photo was taken with, what speed, time, date..etc...IF that info doesn't show up in the profile page for the photo you know it wasn't taken with a camera.
You can just upload thing to DeviantArt then take them down straight away.

I think when I had a Canon, I would use one of the detailed settings. Like candle or low light. (so no flash) Make sure the (((no shake))) is on. Then half-squeeze and let it adjust for movement and focus, then finish snapping the pic.
