I reference Overstreet 2007 Guide & CPG for the comics I get on ebay. For lower grade Silver & Bronze Age books, I think CPG is too low. That is, anything below Fine.

But then again, I've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet of what I've bought in '08, with columns for purchase price (including shipping), Overstreet value, and CPG value. All Tallied up, I've paid considerably less than the values from both Overstreet & CPG. It all comes to about 50% of Overstreet and 66% of CPG. Assuming that market value is exactly equal to a product's cost on the open market, then I suppose both finish out at overpriced.

However, I prefer to look at it this way: I'm an incredibly sly consumer who's consistently beating the system! I'm just finishing up my revealing tell-all eBook which spells out my simple 22 point strategy.
