Never read the manga.....but big fan of the show...
Guess ill have to start reading some of the Shoen-Jump mags i have layin' around that have Naruto stuff in them to see if i can get into it...

I was a big fan of it a few years ago. The chuunin exam is one of the best arcs in any manga series.
But ever since the three year gap the story has gotten silly. They keep trying to make the fight more epic than the last but its lost most of the creativity of the fights. I preferred the fights that took ingenuity and clever deceit rather than the world destroying techniques they seem to have now.
