This weekend I am going to prove a point to myself by cracking open every single CGC case I have and placing each and every one of those comic books into my stacks with the rest of my books... WHERE THEY BELONG. I refuse to continue being a slave to the "added value" of a plastic case and a slip of blue paper. It was nice to know the condition of these books when I bought them, but the time has come to free them all from their living tombs.

Come Saturday, let the "Great Crackening" begin!

YES!! Do it! I did this with all my CGC books last year and never looked back. Now when ever I buy one I open it as soon as it comes. It's nice for the peace of mind when buying, especially key books on the internet, but once it gets here I want all my books in the boxes they belong in, in order.

This is going to be my policy from now on. I'm glad someone else has done this and found it satisfying.

I plan to include pictures of the carnage.

Oooh I couldn't do that. It's nice to have both raw and CGC. They certainly look good in the CGC case. Just like a frame for your book. Saying that though I don't bother with CGC now just raw. Though the ones I Do have I like a lot.

Good for you and good luck! Its nice having all your books/titles together and not just one book here and the subsequent one in another box. Can't wait to see the pictures!

Make certain to video tape The Crackening of each one... just in case there's a potential scandal brewing.

"In my time nightmares walked among us... walked and danced. Skewering victims in plain sight. Laying their fears and worst desires out for everyone to see, just to make us laugh.
And now nightmares are trapped inside the heads of humans. Pitiful echoes of themselves. I wonder whom they angered so to merit such a fate."

I'm going to like comments and play around with the star ratings.
