I personally would go with Green Lantern. His abilities are by far the best. I would like to see him and Darth Vader fight it would be epic.

Superman would probably be the best bet,

He's not my favorite hero, but he's powerful and he could do much for humanity. Most importantly, he's incorruptible, noble and kind.

Phantom Stranger, hands down...Because he's sorta' spooky, mysterious and troubled but, always gets the job done. He appears like a dude you could hang with. You know, catch a few night clubs and pick up chics before offing a nasty villain...

Hi Red Rover,

That's a good point, but re-read it. Supes could have killed Bats, but although he was under Poison Ivy's control, there was still a part of Superman's nature that kept him from using his full strength against the Bat. And don't forget that when he saw Lois in danger, Supes broke Ivy’s hold over himself and flew up to save her.

Batman said it best:
