Michael Bay is making a new TMNT movie

"help expand and give a more complex back story"... which is to say they are now aliens - not mutants and not turtles...
Seems to me; if someone wants to "reboot" the TMNT there are four things they can't change. The team needs to be: 1) Teenage, 2) Mutant, 3) Ninja, and 4) Turtles. Remove any of those elements and they are no longer the TMNTs...

btw, Mrs. DO just informed me that she is hoping for a reboot of Hostess's TMNT pies, lol.

I ate some of those attempting to get a complete set of the stickers. I did complete the set and had no regrets about throwing away most of the quasi-food-like product.

When I read about this I instantly hated Michael Bay. If he changes the origin so drastically, I am certain people will hate it. The 2002 cartoon barely changed the background and it pissed off tons of people that watched the original cartoon. How can he imagine he'd get away with changing the turtles to aliens?

Micheal Bay is a f***** moron. His argument is he's working closely with a creator and no ones even read a script so we should chill out. We all saw the aberition he made with Transformers....its a sad day if hes going to screw with something like this

now if EASTMAN AND LAIRD Themselves were involved i might be more keen to partake however i think i the eye's of hollywood/Walmarts toy dept. he can do no wrong. How many people do you know who now own transformers that never would have if there wasn't a huge reboot.

Even if Eastman and Laird are involved, no one will take to this change of origin. It's not a good move. It's not even that they're changing it, but it's just how drastic the changes are.
