So here its is 39 years later & I am going thru some boxes in my closet, my comic book collection. Quite a few of these were purchased at Gary's shop. I went to high school at John O' Connell at 21st & Harrison and would always make a side trip to the comic shop off of Mission. Use to see all the Underground artists coming in with their stuff. Was a different time & space. I remember Trina Robbins, Dennis Kitchen, Gilbert Sheldon & a host of others always coming in & out. The place was mainstream. Even though I wasnt into undergrounds, still bought a few & still have them (Was really into Crumb!!

Thanx for sharing the article!.......God Bless You Gary!
