Hi folks....
My friend has had comics for a very long time and a recent conversation turned to Zap comics and we both agreed that they have normal colors on both the front and back covers.
However, he showed me #0 that has the same artwork but it is only green on white background, front and back covers, with a greened out price circle only.
Also #2 where both front and back covers are like a greyish blue in color on a white background.
Any one familiar with these color variations to the more common production?
cheers

I believe there are threads devoted to the color variations with a lot of examples and talk of the such. Tr using the search function and looking for "zap comics"

Hi Dusty,
Do you happen to have any pictures? I have a soft spot for these color variants... If you search long enough you will find that forum member oldmilwaukee6er posted some incredible looking variants of Zap #4 a while back...
Also check out this #3 which popped up on e-bay a few months ago...

And here's a great looking #5 (2nd print) that another forum member has sitting on e-bay right now.
