hung out w/ my favorite local poster artist today (Jay Michael)...

i collect his posters from shows that i've seen, so we meet for coffee this morning so i could buy the Widespread Panic Jazz Fest poster and another poster. usually i see him at the shows, but a few times we have had to meet up. once we got to chatting & i found out he liked old underground comix (and knew what they were), we went back to my place and looked at comix, posters, & chillax'd on the j'zoint for 2+ hours. a total fanboy bonus this morning as i was home from work trying to coordinate some drywall repairs.

let's have a little love for the psychedelic art rock!

Was that the Purple Micro-dot Acid that was going around in 1974?
Read Lost Cause Comix-

Man, that is how it started w/ me… my grrl and I both bought from Art Rock beginning in 2000 or so.

We collected bands we had seen live at various times. Once we moved down here and she was back in grad school money was tight. But i am lucky that i found a local artist whose stuff is affordable and does the shows that i like. Here is some more stuff...
Some second printing Dead shows, including the tour that never happened (fall 1995) & last tour (summer 1995)…

And 3 of 4 from my Gov't Mule Jazz Fest night shows (2005, 2006, & 2007... 2008 not shown)

i have lost and repurchased at least two of these shows, but 3.5hrs of Mule rockin' yer ballz off will do that to a guy
