A truly rare Wonder Woman collectible from 1942 was recently sold on eBay.
The promotional letter dated July 20, 1942 which originally accompanied a complimentary copy of Wonder Woman #1 sent to an Army Nurse by Associate Editor of Wonder Woman, Alice Marble. In excellent condition the letter brought $551 after obtaining 14 bids. The letter measured 5.5” x 8.5” and featured a light vertical and horizontal fold lines in the middle. This promotional letter was no doubt only sent to a limited number of women and currently this example is the only known copy.
