It has been an exciting beginning to the week for comics and the digital media. Marvel Comics announced that their graphic novels are available on the Nook first this week. Now comic book titans DC Comics and Marvel Comics announced that they are both among the early companies on Google’s new Google+ Pages.
To promote the launch DC Comics Google+ Page is sharing an exclusive preview of Batman #3 by Scott Snyder. Fans will be sure to enjoy this preview and other exciting content by DC Comics now available.
Marvel Comics is keeping their fans up to date on all things Marvel on Google+. Topics featured include "X-Men Regenesis" and "Marvel's the Avengers". Marvel fans can communicate directly with Marvel staffers, discover the latest news, videos, and much more.
In other digital comic news, comics distributor iVerse Media announced that they have received a $4 million private equity investment from PS&J Group. The investment from the PS&J Group will go towards iVerse Media expanding their marketing and product development. According to reports PS&J Group believes that the brick and mortar comic business is moving to the digital App Store as the purchase point where readers are acquiring the comics.
