Comic fans who have been eagerly anticipating the release of the first trailer for The Avengers can now rejoice. The initial trailer is now available on iTunes Movie Trailers.
If this trailer is any indication of what is in store for us in May 2012 fans will be more than happy. While the debut trailer leaves many questions unanswered and also gives us additional questions to ponder it does feature Jeremy Renner in his suit as Hawkeye, Captain America in his updated uniform, and Nick Fury getting into the fray.
Time will tell what details will emerge in regards to the villains of the film. While we know Thor’s brother Loki is no doubt involved. The trailer does not include anything too specifics regarding the potential involvement of the Skrulls or the rumors of Thanos, although there is a subtle hint with a fallen spacecraft.
No doubt Joss Whedon and the cast will deliver The Avengers in a promising and exciting manner on May 4, 2012.
