Last weekend, ComicsPriceGuide.com (CPG) set up at the 12th Annual Baltimore Comic-Con in Baltimore, MD. The show, which boasted comic legend Stan Lee as it's Guest of Honor, was one of the best attended and most successful shows for both show runner Marc Nathan and for CPG.

"The response to this year's Baltimore Comic-Con was overwhelmingly positive," said Nathan. "It was very rewarding to hear this from guests, retailers, artists and all that attended. 99% of those I spoke to said it was their best show ever."

One of the biggest successes for CPG during the weekend was the $500 raised during a raffle of a Signature Series Amazing Spider-Man #252, CGC Certified 9.8, signed by Lee himself. The money raised was donated to the Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping comic book veterans by providing financial aid for emergency situations, medical care and the necessities of life.

"Marc Nathan and the entire staff of the Baltimore Comic-Con have succeeded in well executing a fantastic convention for the twelfth year in a row," said Tom Gordon III, president of ComicsPriceGuide.com. "Everyone at CPG is extremely grateful to all the attendees who entered our raffle. We raised $500 for the Hero Initiative and know that the donations are going to a great cause."

In addition, artist Jamal Igle (Supergirl, Zatanna) made an appearance at the booth for a signing on Saturday. If that wasn't enough to keep the foot traffic coming to the booth, the beautiful CPG Girls, Kasey and Ariel, were on hand to talk with attendees and sport their CPG Super Swag.

"Baltimore was an amazing experience for all of us here at ComicsPriceGuide.com," said Bryan Neely, Founder and CEO or CPG. "I was expecting a large turnout, but not as big as it actually was. Wow! Everyone who went to Baltimore knows what I'm talking about. I think the Con could have gone at least four days and people would have still had things to do and see!"

"I want to thank Jamal Igle for stopping by the booth for his signing. He is as gracious as he is talented," continued Neely. "With all the positivity we experienced this year in Baltimore, you can expect to see us again next year!"

The 13th Annual Baltimore Comic-Con is scheduled for September 8-9, 2012.
