This July and August, Paradise Comics is participating in a show called “Risky Business”! The premise has an everyday contestant investing $10,000 in a reality TV contest where Paradise Comics has to return a profit to them within 30 days! Paradise Comics will be up against another entrepreneur, and for us to win, we must show more profit than them! We want to showcase to the show’s fans just how popular and profitable comics can be, so we need you comic fans to help support us come auction day on August 6th!
Paradise Comics is also doing a signing with Stan Lee during the San Diego Comic-Con and we have brought some cool and exciting books for this Signature Series opportunity! Some of the highlights of this collection are a low grade Fantastic Four #1, a high grade Amazing Spider-Man #129, and a mid-grade Daredevil #1.
Then on August 6th all the sketch covers and Stan Lee Signature Series books will be auctioned off online as “Risky Business” films at the store! Taking bids online, in-person, and via the phone updating, we will have a special section our website just for this occasion! This is going to be quite the day at the store, and I can’t wait for this exciting upcoming event!
