A copy of Incredible Hulk #181 graded 9.6 by CGC recently brought $10,000 on eBay. Signed by Stan Lee as well as Len Wein, the book is part of CGC’s Signature Series. According to the CGC Census the book is listed with five other copies as the second highest grade that they feature in the SS line. There are only two other copies graded higher at 9.8.
The book is famous for holding the first appearance of Wolverine. It features cover art by Herb Trimpe and story by Len Wein. Wendigo even stops by!
