An AFA 80 or near mint graded Star Wars Droid Vlix action figure sold for $3,200 on eBay. The figure was sold with a certificate of authenticity from Collectibles Investment Brokerage.
Vlix is the rarest of all commercially-released vintage Star Wars figures ever produced. This action figure was the only Droids figure originally released on card back from the second wave of figures in 1988, and solely in Brazil by the Glasslite Toy Co. after the Droids series was cancelled in the United States. An estimated 25 to 30 examples are known to exist.
