GradeCom L.P., a small company based out of Grand Rapids Michigan has breathed a fresh of breath air into a lifeless sector of the comic book industry that they themselves coined the "Comic Book Appreciation" sector. Named for those collectors looking to display and appreciate their favorite books.

To remedy this concern, recently GradeCom has started including an archive safe, 99% UV resistant Mylar toploader with each of their loose book frame inserts. Also, very soon they will offer a 99% UV resistant film that can be applied to the front of any graded comic book slab, making it much safer to show off your prized possessions just about anywhere you chose.
