Signed by Stan Lee, verified and graded by CGC at 8.0, a copy of the first appearance of Iron Man in Tales of Suspense #39 sold for $12,500 on eBay. With a great cover by Jack Kirby and Don Heck, the book is considered by many to be one of the most in important books in the Silver Age of Marvel.
According to the CGC Census it is one of two 8.0 graded books in the Signature Series. There is only one book graded higher.
