X-Men #1, one of the most popular books in collecting fandom, recently sold for $16,400 on eBay. The book was graded by CGC at 8.5. According to the CGC Census there are a total of thirty four copies graded at 8.5. Jack Kirby did the cover as well as the interior art and the story was by Stan Lee.
