Featuring the first appearance of The Silver Age Flash, a copy of Showcase #4 brought $23,101 on eBay. The book is CGC-Graded at 8.0. According to the Census, there are only six copies of the title graded higher.
Considered by many to be the beginning of the Silver Age, Showcase #4 features cover art by Carmine Infantino and Joe Kubert. It is the first of several try-outs for the Speedster in Showcase before his own title was picked up with #105.
