Pedigree Comics' upcoming March Grand Auction, scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 10, 2011, will feature two distinct collections incldung a run of Thor books beween #127 - 167 and the #1 CGC Registry set of Flash books between #105 - 350. The auction will also feature over 500 high-grade CGC Certified comics from the Gold, Silver and Bronze Ages (Marvel and DC) plus some Gold Key and Dell comics.
"Thor [comic]s have been on fire of late, obviously in anticipation of the upcoming movie=," said Doug Schmell, CEO of Pedigree Comics. "I have seen more sales and interest in Thor over the past few months than I have seen in [the previous] two years, particularly high-grade issues."
"The consigner had been collecting CGC Certified copies of Flash in high-grade for a number of years and his journey has taken him to the top of the CGC Registry," said Schmell of the Flash collection. "His unbelievable set is over 80% complete and contains over 200 comics."
