With the first appearance of Iron Man, Tales of Suspense #39 is one of best known books of the Silver Age. From the wonderful art by Jack "The King" Kirby to the origin story by Stan Lee, the book is a perfect example of the best of Marvel's work during the early Silver Age.

Recently a CGC 6.5 copy sold on eBay for $3,500. According to the CGC Census, the book is one of 38 graded 6.5.
