Metropolis and ComicConnect.com are scheduled attend the NYC Comic Book Marketplace. The popular event is a time honored favorite and they are ready to bring the best possible collectibles to the Big Apple and all its fans and collectors.
Metropolis’s good friend, Mike Carbonaro, brings some of that “blast from the past” old-school magic with his awesome one-day NYC Comic Book Marketplace taking place Saturday, February 19th, at the Penn Plaza Pavilion (7th Ave and 33rd St).
Metropolis Collectibles will be there, with rarities, keys, deals, and other goodies culled from their mind blowing inventory of over 150,000 vintage and rare comics.
Speaking to ComicsPriceGuide.com about the fabled event, Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments said “I would like to invite everyone coming to the show to stop by and see our ComicConnect.com display, which will be showing off some of the amazing comics filling our March Event Auction,” Reynolds spoke about some of the highlights. “I will have a few comics from the new Suscha News Pedigree, which will give collectors the chance to see some of these pristine books for the very first time.”
Frank Cwiklik, Sales Manager for Metropolis wants to remind everyone that “We're also aggressively seeking original comic art -- if you got, we'll check it out first, we pay top dollar and we are also seeking consignments! Bring us your vintage comics, your collectibles, your comic art -- we're always buying, and spend over $1 million annually on vintage comics. Maybe you've got what we need? Bring it by.”
