A copy of Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.6 featuring the first appearance of Wolverine, went for $4,400.00. This issue of Incredible Hulk, regardless of grade, is one of the hottest and most consistent sellers in the collector’s market.

Signed books are always a solid collectible for both sellers and collectors especially when the book has a sketch drawing.  Recently a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #252 CGC SS 9.8 signed by Stan Lee and Ron Frenz sold for $511.17. What makes this a stand out issue is that Franz went the extra mile when he signed the book and included a great sketch of Venom as well!

TV and Movie comics are always great sellers when signed. A copy of Star Trek #1, signed by cast members William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols realized $1,500. The copy is graded CGC SS 7.0 and is the highest graded signed copy in the census.

Featuring a great looking dinosaur cover by Sheldon Moldoff, a CGC 9.0 copy of Batman #104 brought $1,595.00 on eBay earlier this week. The copy, which is the second highest graded copy on the CGC Census, also holds art by Dick Sprang and stories by Edmond Hamilton and Bill Finger.
