Comic books of all ages are well represented by everything from the Platinum Age rarity “The Three Funnymakers” from 1908 (the first comic book to compile more than one newspaper strip together) to one of the key books of the Bronze Age, a CGC 9.4 copy of Giant-Size X-Men. Comic book related rarities include DC ashcan covers from 1944 and the Library of Congress official copyright card for Superman #5 from 1940.
Superhero items in general are among the true highlights of this auction with an exceptional offering of original art, merchandise and premiums for Superman, Batman, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Green Hornet and many others. Items include specialty art done for Overstreet by C.C.
