Collectors of comics and comic art know that there are always some great lots listed inside the weekly comic book auction over at Heritage. For those who don’t know about this event, every Sunday night Heritage hosts a small Internet Auction that starts as soon as the previous week’s has ended. The auctions can contain as few as four hundred items and sometimes over a thousand different lots.
Lots listed include comics from all periods alongside animation art, original art and just about anything associated with the collecting hobby. Fans of CGC books alswo know that the Weekly Heritage Auction is a great place to find hidden bargains on books. Here are a few interesting listings from this week’s event.

This issue of Detective #340 (CGC 6.0) is just one of the ten book slisted inside a single lot. They include CGC-slabbed copies of #340 (FN 6.0), 345 (first appearance of Block Buster, FN/VF 7.0), 360 (6.5 FN+), 370 (FN 6.0), 375 (Batmobile cover, FN/VF 7.0), 395 (FN/VF 7.0), 398 (2 copies - FN 6.0 and FN/VF 7.0), 404 (Enemy Ace tribute, FN 6.0), and 406 (FN 6.0). Approximate Overstreet value for the group is $275.

This copy of Fantastic Four #47 is graded 9.2

A total of 47 different copies of Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery File Copies (67-79) listed as single lot. A great way to fill in holes in any collection of odd or esoteric books.
