Organizers of the Stan Lee Tribute, being hosted by Desert Wind Comics in Las Vegas, NV, announced this week the addition of several guest who will be attending the event which takes place this weekend, May 6-8, 2010. Stan "The Man" Lee will be joined by Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, Bob Layton and David Michelinie, who will all be on hand to celebrate while Lee receives the Brenden Celebrity Star. In addition, all four guests will join Lee at a charity signing hosted by Desert Wind Comics and overseen by official witnesses from CGC.
Events planned for the weekend include: Brenden Celebrity Star Presentation on Friday, May 7; a tribute reception and dinner hosted by the Walt Disney Co. on Saturday May 8; a silent charity auction being held throughout the weekend; a Stan Lee Retrospective Exhibit, presented by ComicLink and Desert Wind Comics; as well as the Celebrity signing.
