The results from Propworx's Iron Man Prop Auction, which was held at the first annual Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2), are now in as the auction came to a close this past Sunday, April 25, 2010. The auction began on Sunday, April 18, 2010. but had to be cut short after only 163 lots due to internet failure at the convention center. The remaining 57 lots were auctioned off this past Sunday via LiveAuctioneers.com.
Highlights from the auction include: the huge Iron Monger torso brought $19,200; the battle-damaged Mark III Helmet sold for $13,200; and the Hero Mark I RT Unit and Mark II RT Unit each sold for over $10,000.
