The inaugural DC Comic-con will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Student Union Building II (SUBII) on the campus of George Mason University, located in Fairfax, VA. The show will be put on jointly by Marc Nathan, promoter of the Baltimore Comic-Con, and Brett Carreras, promoter of the VA Comicon, and will feature: a top talent guest list; a show exclusive comic, courtesy of Top Cow Productions; comics retailers bringing Golden, Silver and Modern Age comics, manga/anime products, and toys; and a sanctioned Magic the Gathering tournament.
Guests attending the show include: Frank Cho (Mighty Avengers); Herb Trimpe (Incredible Hulk); JG Jones (Final Crisis); the Fillbach Brothers (Clone Wars Adventures) and the Luna Brothers (The Sword), both sponsored by Laughing Ogre Comics; Steve Conley (Star Trek Omnibus: The Original Series); John K. Snyder III (Doctor Mid-Nite) and Jo Chen (Runaways), both sponsored by the Hero Initiative.
